These stainless steels have been developed to operate at high temperature in oxidizing conditions. The percentage is 24% chromium and nickel from 14 to 22%.

The basic properties are resistance to oxidation (cleavage) at high temperature and good mechanical strength at high temperatures.

The most common uses occur in parts of furnaces, radiant tubes and coatings mitts, for operating temperatures between 950 and 1100 ° C.
