Stainless steel superferritico
It is designed to reduce the susceptibility to corrosion and stress corrosion cracking honeycomb of stainless steels. These mild steels chromium have two possible compositions: Chromium 18% and 2% molybdenum, chromium, or 26% and 1% molybdenum.
The basic properties are the same ferritic stainless steels, with the added corrosion resistance and cellular stress corrosion crack (SCC), or discrete poor weldability.
Due to the low welding jobs are limited to particular welds less than 5 mm thick. They are used for solar panels and radiators, pipes, heat exchangers and condensers, hot water tanks and pipes to the movement of brines in the food industry.
